November 8, 2015 Minutes
The meeting of the Grand Lake Recreation Club was held at Shingle Shack. President, Brad Fisher brought the meeting to order. Treasurer, Tom Schieb read the Treasurer’s Report, balance is currently $5,019.40. Approximately 12 members present.
The next meeting will be the Christmas Party, Sunday, December 13th, 2:00 at Sportsmans Club.
- The lake is currently 2 inches below the notche.
- The new shelter house at the State Park is complete.
- Brian Miller would like to meet with the GLRC soon to discuss future plans and ideas we can be a part of.
- The Christmas Party is our next meeting, December 13th!
- The Rec Club will be providing the main course for dinner. The Swicks and the Plattners will be cooking. Please bring a covered dish.
- We’ll be having the annual Christmas gift raffle. There will be multiple gifts valued at approximately $20.00 each, including a $100.00 bill!
- Feel free to bring a gift if you would like for the drawing ($20.00 value).
- Brian Miller will be present to speak and answer questions. Brad has also invited the State Workers.
- Please be sure to send me any pictures you have from GLRC related events to put on the slideshow (even if it’s just one, send it!)
- Please RSVP to grandlakerec@gmail.com for meal planning purposes. Bring friends!! (non-members welcome!)

- Club Drawing was for $110.00. Mike Wagner’s name was drawn, paid, not present.
- next drawing will be for $110.00 – this will be a ‘must-give’ at the Christmas Party!
2015 Dues are now due ($20.00 a family for the year, pay now and 2016 is included!)
