News/ Information
-Brad has a meeting coming up with Faler and Team, let him know any concerns
-Club wants to go back to doing more lake clean ups in 2024
-Dynamic Weld built a rack for the Lighted Buoys & Mobley Project donated funds
-We need to work on cleaning up the Buoys this winter/spring: spray off/fix stickers
-Please check our lights out at night if you are able and let us know if any are out.
-Grants are submitted for funds to repair rock at Prairie Creek and Coldwater Creek
-Safety Island dock that Speckman’s donated: work to begin in February in Brad’s shop. LIA is also going to help fund.
-West Bank ADA dock transition ramp has been updated & fishing structure added.
-New playground at the West Bank State Park being installed summer of 2024, LIA donated .
-Brad is still working with Angie King on the Oil Derrick.
-Berke’s working with Albert’s Sporting Goods to get an online shirt order site up for us.
-April Solar Eclipse: all campgrounds are full in Wapak, St. Marys, Celina, etc. SMART in St. Marys is having an event this day at Skip Baughman to try to break the record of the most S’mores eaten.
-WCSM wants to get involved with us: do a cleanup, submit pictures and have a giveaway to raise money for GLRC.
-St. Marys Boat Club reached out to us. The Boat Club and their members want to get involved with us. Brad to speak at one of their meeting.
-Brad to speak at the LIA meeting 2/3/2024
-LIA Icebreaker is February 17th. GLRC members are getting some tables reserved, let us know ASAP if you would like to join.
-Membership renewal letters & magnets were mailed out. Dues for 2024 due

-Lake Levels at -13 inches at the Spillway (with all the rain we just got it is up 3 inches)
