The monthly meeting of the Grand Lake Rec Club was called to order by President, Brad Fisher at Celina Eagles, with approximately 28 members present. Vice President, Keith Seitz read the March minutes. Treasurer, Kim Swick read the Treasurer’s report:

News/ Information:
- Dave Faler Park Update:
- Lake level 13.5″ above normal pull
- 3.33″ rain for March: 9.13″ so far for the year
- Crappie fishing is good
- for all special events and Holidays, campgrounds are full for 2025
- The Ohio House of Representatives has proposed slashing H2Ohio funding by $150 million—cutting the program from $270 million down to just $120 million. The budget now moves to the Senate, and we need your voice. Tell your Senator to oppose these harmful cuts and restore full funding for H2Ohio, using this link: https://lakeimprovement.
com/h2ohio/ - Membership mailings and buoys cleanup went great, thanks to the 25-30 people that came out to help
- We tried out the new bottoms on buoys. The steel plate option worked best, it held up great in very windy conditions
- Dave Now and Dan Stant: oil derrick light is working great
- Bicycle Poker Run:
- Bayview was officially sold. The new owners are a couple from Versailles, Brad will meet with them to make sure we can continue to have the BPR there.
- Psycho Cycle owner to donate 1/2 the price of the bike to be raffled off this year
- Raffle tickets: previous years we sold 200 tickets and ran out. This year we are going to get 300 tickets
- Let us know ideas on prizes/improvements/etc and if you are able to help work at the BPR
- Boat Updates/Needs
- new helm, redid wiring, new gages, seat cooler with lid to store the sonar unit, to withstand moisture. New panels on the sides that we will put GLRC logos on.
- Eric Doench is building a bench for the boat that will sit 4 and the bench can be used for storage.
- Lake Cleanup April 26th, meet at Lakeside Hideout at 7:30AM
- Eric Doench: Our annual election is in June. Look for an email from Eric soon for the details for this year.
