September 14, 2014 Minutes
The meeting of the Grand Lake Recreation Club was held at ShingleShack. President, Brad Fisher brought the meeting to order. Treasurer, Tom Scheib gave the Treasurer’s Report. Approximately 15 members present.
The next meeting will be Sunday, October 12th at 2:00 at Sportsman’s Club, ditch cleanup at noon (start at Sportsman’s Club).
- Brad read the State Lake Report
- the lake level was +3

- The website has been up and running. Brian Morris has agreed to donate his own personal time to keep this up-to-date for us at no cost. thanks Brian!!
- We are getting poles from Midwest to put out on the Oil Derrick that will slow down the damage the ice might cause. The state will put them up Friday, October 10th.
- We are still selling gun raffle tickets. The drawing will be at the October meeting at Sportsman’s Club. This is a very important and prosperous event for the Rec Club. Please buy a ticket and sell them if you can. Contact any Officer for tickets.
- Brad gave a great presentation to the LIA on the Oil Derrick project at their last meeting.
- We received a thank you letter from Camp Bearable for our $100.00 donation to them again this year.
- GLRC will be hosting a water stand for the Grand Lake Marathon at the end of September to hand out water to the runners at Brad and Alisha’s house.
- Club drawing: Kim Egbert’s name was pulled; she was neither registered, nor present. The next drawing will be for $80.00!
2015 Dues are now due ($20.00 a family for the year)
If you pay your 2015 dues now, you get the rest of 2014 free (if you had not yet paid)
