Monthly Meeting of the Grand Lake Rec club was called to order by President Brad Fisher at Shingle Shack with 23 members present.

$10,675.54 in the GLRC General Fund

News/ Information
-A big thank you to Ed Davis for repairs/alterations made to the ADA fishing dock
-LIA is working on plans for a shelter house at the West Bank Park
-GLRC Member Dave Meyer is working on fish structures to be installed at the new handicap fishing dock
-Moose Bay Project has started and will be on going this winter
-Lake Maps have been updated and are being printed
-Magnets are ordered. Be sure to look at them some dates and times have changed.
-The nature walk in St. Marys went great and all that went seemed to have a great time.
– Christmas party is December 10th at the Southshore Sportsman’s Club
-Oil Derrick to hopefully be removed the week following November meeting
-Club wants to go back to doing more lake clean ups in 2024
-Dynamic Weld is making a rack for the Lighted Buoys
– Safety Island project to start hopefully in 2024
-Dues for 2024 due in January
-Shirt order forms should be available at the December Christmas Party
-Looking for ideas suggestions for food for the Christmas Party
ODNR Report
-More trees are to be planted at the State Park
-Lake Levels at -13 inches
-Auglaize County parks issue passed at the ballot box
Incoming Money/Donations
-Received $400.00 for the Midwest Electric Grant
-Received and $25.00 donation in Memory of Judy Hemmelgarn
