Monthly Meeting of the Grand Lake Rec Club was called to order by President Brad Fisher at Bayview, with approximately 32 members present. Vice President Keith Seitz read April meeting minutes. Treasurer’s report read by Treasurer, Kim Swick

News/ Information

• Safety Island Dock Project
  • Still in process with LIA. It will be complete this month
• Trevor Mobley Foundation is funding the lights at the new entrance at the Moose so people can safely enter and exit the Moose. They are also getting a lighted buoy for the rock pier in front of Boardwalk.
• Oil Derrick and all lighted buoys are up
• Fishing Frenzy: 1 of our $50 fish were caught, 3 remain
• Elections will be held at our next quarterly meeting in June, they will be made with paper ballots. 
• Poker Run:
  • volunteers are needed. Registration is from 10-12, need dealers after the ride around 4/5PM and running our booth in general. Please let us know if you can help.
  • Raffle tickets are currently being sold, only 150 available. Get yours soon
  • Preregistration at Bayview and Shingleshack
  • We will have a 50/50, and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize
  • There are a total of 9 stops. Zach Rosenbeck will be playing at Bayview when we return, be back by 4PM.
  • Door prizes needed, let us know if you can help
  • Shirts will be on sale at BPR, you can also custom order
• The LIA made a $2500 donation towards the maintenance /extension of the Franklin Township pike path. Della St. Johns made the motion for the GLRC to donate $2500 to cause as well. 2nd by Bob Swick, passed unanimously
• Volunteer boat drivers for Otterbein are needed. Just a short trip down East Bank, usually takes less than an hour. See Mike Metz or Brad Fisher if you would be willing to help
