The meeting of the Grand Lake Recreation Club was held at Celina Eagles. President, Brad Fisher, brought the meeting to order and first and foremost wished all the Mothers a Happy Mother’s Day. Secretary, Tom Schieb read the Treasurer’s Report. Approximately 20 members present.

The next meeting will be Sunday, June 12th, 2:00 at Docksiders/Big Bamboo’s

• Dave Faler, the new Park Manager came to give an update and answer questions.
 Dredges are going at full speed, some currently in Southmoor Shores.
 Windy Point is looking to reestablish an island, anyone looking to get rid of concrete, let Dave or a GLRC officer know.
 Lake level is 2.8 inches above the notche.
 The new splash pad at the park to open soon, weather pending.
 Nice new restroom and shower house up at park.
• The GLRC boat is now in the water. Send an email, or contact an officer if you see somewhere on the lake that needs attention.
• Buzzy at Kozy donated two new pontoons for the GLRC boat. Plattners, Fishers, JR and team installed these on our boat and it is running great – thanks guys!
• The beautiful Oil Derrick Replica we donated is back up.
• There is a new batch of GLRC shirts out, please see Jason Plattner for details.
• Lake Cleanup was a success, thank you to all who came out to help.
• June 4th is the annual Kid’s Fishing Derby; 8AM signup, fishing 10-1:00 at the park. Grand prize is a new bike.
• June 4th is also the Fire Department’s golf outing, please contact Brad for more details.
• June 18th is the Color Run. Amy Ruane and family will be working a station, representing the Grand Lake Recreation Club, please email me if you would like to be involved.
• June 18th is also the Rec Club’s annual Hog Roast. This is always a great time, mark your calendars!
• Officer elections were held. Lincoln Pemberton moved to keep the current officers. Bob Swick seconded the motion. It was unanimously passed.
• Club Drawing was for $50.00, Sue and Sam Schmiesing’s name was drawn; paid, not present. Next drawing it for $60.00!

2016 Dues are now due ($20.00 per family for the year)
