Lake CleanUp didn’t happen on Saturday as scheduled, due to the weather. We did get
out on Sunday, the 4th and had a good turnout. The new GLRC boat got put to good use
and brought in a bunch of logs. Thanks to all who came out!
Brad and Jason took the new GLRC work boat to the LIA meeting (and of course hauled
some logs in on the way). Brian talked about our Club and we also got our picture in the
paper. Many people see members out on the boat, working and stop to ask questions
about the Club and the cause. In such a short amount of time, the boat has already
proven to be good advertising and a great investment.

be back at Bayview by 4:00. Parking will be in the same place as last year. There is a
$5.00 donation/person to ride. We had 310 registered last year and are hoping for 350-

participate. We could still use volunteers to help deal cards at the end. Remember this
is a wonderful family event and a great fundraiser for the club.
We talked about possibly having a raffle at the Bicycle Poker Run for a bike. New

will also be setting up a tent(s) displaying bikes for sale. In addition, he is
donating his time to have a tent where you can get your bike looked at if you are
having any trouble; tires, brakes, etc. Thanks Kevin & Crista for setting this all
