The social monthly meeting of the Grand Lake Rec Club was called to order by Secretary, Amy Ruane at Shingleshack, with approximately 26 members present. Member, Ryan Beatty read the February minutes. Treasurer, Kim Swick read the Treasurer’s report:

News/ Information:
- Dave Faler Park Update:
- Sadly Former Assistant Park Manager, Ron Pyles, passed away last month.
- 1.51″ rain for February: 2.5″ so far for the year, which is very low
- 5K hikes along the Canal March 9th and April 1st
- Memorial Day and July 4th weekends are already full
- Labor Day weekend a few electric campsites are still available
- Fall Festival is September 5th – 7th this year
- Halloween campout is October 3rd – 5th this year
- State Dock invoices are due March 31st, Private Dock invoices are due April 30th
- Membership drive (stuffing envelope party at Brad’s) and Buoy cleanup (fix the lettering and put new stickers on the buoys): Scheduled for March 22nd
- Dave Now and Dan Stant are working on fixing the new light for the oil derrick: The light is working, one cell may be dead. Trying to get it covered under warranty.
- Boat Updates/Needs
- – Structure builders think we have too much movement on boat to build the big aluminum structure.
- -Replace console with new stand/sit console that has gauges and switches, which will have everything in one spot. Also have a cover made to cover the console. This will be through Outdoorsman, waiting on updated quote.
- – Brace up current structure to help with movement: Rec members
- -Have toons tested and fix any issues: Davis welding

- – Install sonar system: Freedom
- -New stand/sit seat: Rec Members

- GLRC’s 4th of July Celebration at Boater’s Beach UPDATE: originally scheduled for the 4th this year – the magnets reflect this date. Rosenbeck needs it moved to July 5th.
- Lakeshore Marina will be hosting bands at Boater’s Beach this year again:

- Eric Doench: Our annual election is in June. Look for an email from Eric soon for the details for this year.
- Dave Meyer: Kid’s Fishing Derby: New poles are needed. Last time GLRC and LIA went in 50/50. Half of the cost is ~$650 for 250 fully rigged fishing poles.
