March 8, 2015 Minutes
The meeting of the Grand Lake Recreation Club was held at It’s It. President, Brad Fisher brought the meeting to order. Approximately 11 members present.
The next meeting will be Sunday, April 12th at 2:00 at Rustic Haven.
- Highlights from State Lake Report
- the lake level was +2
- they opened tubes up 1/2 way 5 days ago to maintain and will shut off on the 15th
- Previously we had voted on a $1200 budget for a GLRC boat, to use to clean up the lake. What is now available is a different boat (24 ft, bigger tubes and longer) at $1500. Rick Nurrenbrock motioned, Bob Swick seconded and it was unanimously passed.
- Brad shopped around for insurance for the Club and the boat. He found a $364 annual policy for the boat, liability and general liability on the club. Floyd made a motion, Rick seconded and it was unanimously passed.
- The 2015 Upcoming Events schedule will be mailed this week.
- Please remember to pay your dues and recruit new members. It is such a small price to pay and goes to a great cause we all know and love!
2015 Dues are now due ($20.00 a family for the year)
