The meeting of the Grand Lake Recreation Club was held February 13th at Duckfoot. Approximately 19 members present. President, Brad Fisher brought the meeting to order. Vice President, Keith Seitz read the January minutes.
- Elections will be held at the March meeting. LJ Bertke has volunteered to run this for the Club. All positions are open this year. Please take a minute to send LJ a quick email or text at: ljb@qualforms.com or 937-418-1427. We really need and appreciate your participation with this, it is important to the Club. If you are on the fence about being nominated, please know that the current/previous officer in that positions will help you along the way as long as you need it! - The Trevor Mobley Light Project is going very well. We will go into more depth at the Quarterly meeting in March.
- Membership drive is complete, we have extra magnets if anyone needs one. Please make sure you are paid up for this new year.
- GLRC will be working the bicycle raffle booth at the LIA’s Winterbreaker Dance. Half of the proceeds raised will be donated to us.
- Still working on getting a redesign on GLRC shirts, plan is to have something before the Bicycle Poker Run
- LIA has volunteered to help us with getting the Oil Derrick fixed back up again, it has weathered quite a bit since our last reconstruction.
- Thank you to everyone who came out to help with the reconstruction of the Logg Dogg. All that is left is to work on the pontoons and the wiring. The goal was to only spend $2,500 on the boat, and we are almost right on budget. Trevor Mobley foundation donated $1,500 to fixing up the boat!
