The meeting of the Grand Lake Recreation Club was held at Sportsman’s Club. Vice President, Jason Plattner, brought the meeting to order and read the November minutes. Treasurer, Tom Scheib, read the Treasurer’s report; current balance of ~$4,579.37. Approximately 31 members present.
The next meeting will be Sunday, January 12,2020; 2:00 pm at Rustic Haven.
- Dave Faler gave lake level at -3.97 inches. Draw down not started yet due to duck season and hunters being out on the water. Rain for 2019 was at 50.46 inches to date.
- Log dog is at the Outdoorsman for new motor to be put on . This will make it turnkey for a productive lake season. So lets get out there this year!! Many Thanks go out to the LIA for donating the money for this big purchase.
- Schedule for 2020 meeting dates reviewed and magnets will be ordered; once received Renee will mail out membership dues letter along with magnet. New email account will be set up no later than February; this account will allow Renee to see who receives the email as well as those that didn’t for some reason.
- Poker Run 2020 Bayview is planning on doing the food; over the next few months planning will begin along with meeting with mgt and staff.
- Elections for 2020: 1 year trustee, 2 year trustee, and treasurer (if anyone interested). Dave Meyer will start with getting the nominations in February via email, text or calling him. Those chosen will take over in April.
- Music at the beach for 2020- Ryan Beatty will be the one who will set up bands for this; any questions get with him. You could email me and I can forward to him if need be.
- Club drawing was for $80; David and Diane Brown name drawn (paid/not present). Next drawing for $90.00.
