- Lake was 7.5 inches above the notch and they are closing it later today.
- The new Governor was sworn in January 12th.
- Chief and Assistant Chief positions likely to change as well.
- The Nature Center in the campgrounds is in bad shape. Camp Hosts graciously donated enough to buy new Nature Center and metal car port for park movie theater, to show movies when it’s raining too.
- As we all know, Brad is a member of the Township volunteer Fire Department. At a recent meeting, it was brought up that they need two new water rescue suits. Recently, two vehicles plunged into the water at the fish hatchery. One suit was ruined from the gas that leaked from the vehicle and the other was worn and tattered. Two new suits will cost ~$1500. Bob Swick made the motion to donate the suits, Jerry Mendenhall 2nd the motion, it passed unanimously.
- The GLRC boat has been winterized and Denny Liette allowed us to store on his property. Thank you gentleman!
