January 12, 2014 Minutes
The meeting of the Grand Lake Recreation Club was held at the It’s It. President, Brad Fisher brought the meeting to order. President, Brad Fisher also gave the Treasurer’s Report. Additionally President, Brad Fisher read the minutes from the meeting held December 8th; minutes were approved as read. Approximately 25 members present.
The next meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 9th at Celina Eagles.
- Brian Morris is currently creating the Rec Club’s new website, next meeting we hope to have a prototype.
- T-shirts: there was much discussion on designing our new Club shirts. John Lee donated his time and created a nice logo for us, which was passed around at the meeting. Bob and Kim Swick had recently purchased sweatshirts for themselves with a nice map of Grand Lake, we think that would be nice to include on the back of our shirts. Rick Nurrenbrock has a graphic friend that he could get to make a moc-up design for us as well.
- Park Manager Brian Miller, who is now a member, would like to hear our ideas on what we would like to see at the lake; changes and/or additions. Keep thinking of ideas and feel free to shoot a quick email to us at grandlakerec@gmail.com.
- Rick Nurrenbrock, who owns our local Valpak, very generously offered to run an ad in Valpak for us free of charge. We will be sending Rick our list of events and Club literature very soon.

- Varsity Lanes in St. Marys Bowling Event, January 25th 9:00 p.m. (8:00 p.m. signup)
- Club Drawing: we forgot to do the club drawing…next club drawing will be $20.00!
